Consolidating three successful companies operating in the construction industry, Cira Energy, Inc. has positioned itself as an installer of Clean Power solutions for residential and commercial properties.
Don Harris started installing photovoltaic solar in 2001 for both residential and commercial properties through his company DJH Construction. As an industry veteran, Don also is an active board member of the Solar Energy Council, where he is the Secretary/Treasurer.
Through Solar Consultants LLC, Don also offers consulting services to cities, associations, contractors and homeowner groups. This consulting company helps define the most efficient system designs and the engineering of those systems. Solar consultants also helps homeowner associations and cities through the approval process for photovoltaic solar systems. As well; Don is involved as an instructor, teaching PV Solar to the construction industry.
Kevin Blake brings over twenty years of experience developing, marketing and selling products and service solutions in both consumer and commercial markets. He began his career with a start-up solar thermal business in the Midwest during the early 1980’s, growing it from 12 employees to over 200.
Over his career, Kevin has served as the Regional Sales Manager Southern California for CentroSolar America, Director of North America Sales for Siliken Renewable Energy, Regional Sales Manager of Akeena Solar and was the Vice President of Sales at Quebecor World Inc. managing sales in the Midwest and Eastern United States for this 15 Billion dollar public company. Joining Cira Energy, Inc in 2011, Kevin recognized the quality of Cira Energy’s installs, the experience of the operations team and the long term need for Solar Companies to partner with established roofing companies. The partnership between industry leader Western Roofing Systems and Cira Energy, Inc assures, based on Kevin’s experience, a better long term installation that provides security for our customers.
More recently, Kevin has joined (Palm Springs Mayor) Steve Pougnet‘s hand picked "Clean Tech Task Force", charged with supporting the development of an overall clean technology economic development strategy for Palm Springs that will create green jobs and grow the local economy. In the City of Irvine, Kevin was chairman of the cities first "Go Green" committee. Also, was the first Co- Chair of the Inland Valley’s "Solar Development Zone“ working with city, municipal, state and national government agencies and representatives with the goal of growing the number of solar arrays on warehouse rooftops in the Inland Empire. Kevin is regularly quoted in publications and is often a guest industry expert, appearing on National and Regional TV and radio stations.
Kory Frost started in the California construction industry with ESIG in 1986. ESIG was one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.A. This firm was involved in the roofing industry as a manufacturer, wholesaler and owner of several contracting companies. Kory finished his career with ESIG in 1992 as V.P. of Marketing and Sales.
Starting in 1992, Kory helped develop Western Roofing Systems; which has won numerous Customer Service awards form various organizations and has become one of the largest residential roofing companies in the U.S. Western Roofing Systems has helped develop steel roofing designs and helped develop installation techniques that are used within the roofing industry. As well, Western Roofing Systems has been helping install photovoltaic solar on its own roofing installs for 10 years.
